SSO is available only for Heroku Teams and Heroku Enterprise customers.
SSO for Heroku introduces support for delegated authentication to Heroku’s web experience and command line interface (CLI). Companies that want employees to use centralized, company-controlled single sign-on or “SSO” to log into Heroku can now add Heroku as a “service provider” (login destination) to many cloud and on-premise identity providers (IdP), as well as to custom authentication solutions that support the SAML 2.0 standard.
